NPA Services (Non-public Agency)

We are a California certified NPA. What does this mean?

Public schools are required to provide a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) to eligible Special Education Students, age 3-21. If a student's Special Education needs cannot be met within a given district, the district may contract with an approved Non-Public Agency (NPA) for special education and related services.

Our Special Education Coordinators assist school districts and students' families to provide additional academic support outside of the classroom.

Our company is partnered with over 300 School Districts and Government Agencies. We provide One-to-One "Compensatory Education" Tutoring to students across the nation. Our Special Education Tutors are Credentialed Teachers. We are an excellent resource for public, non-public, and private schools. One-to-one tutoring sessions are tailored to meet each child's specific academic needs. This is a cost-effective solution for school districts that do not have to pay Payroll or Social Security Taxes for the contracted teachers.

Professional Tutors of America has been providing one-to-one tutoring since 1983. Our dedicated Special Education Tutors hold valid Special Education Credentials, and have current background checks and TB Clearances on file.

We are an excellent resource for families, public, non-public, private schools, advocates and attorneys. Our Special Education Consultants can conduct and review assessments, attend IEP meetings, and provide recommendations for the best ways to meet a child's unique needs.
